A couple months later in March when heavy rainfall and melting snow combined with our sump-pump failing, our church flooded just a week before the Sacred Paschal Triduum. Luckily with the help of Catholic Mutual, Staff and Parishioners we were able to clean the water out of our worship space and still celebrate the Triduum.
In April and May we had 46 Children receive First Communion and 55 Teenagers receive Confirmation.
In July our Christian Formation Program held Totus Tuus with St. Martin of Tours. This week long camp was filled with opportunities to help the kids grow closer to God with activities, games, learning sessions, and Mass.
In late September Deacon Jim received the Archbishop's Vatican II Award for Leadership in the Permanent Diaconate.
Finally, to close out the year, in December we had our annual Christmas Concert and Las Posadas.
